As a pianist I have been playing all my life. With a focus on classical music I have earned degrees from Roosevelt University in Chicago in Piano Pedagogy and Piano Performance. Having played everything from Bach to the Beatles I have come to appreciate all styles of music. With a strong emphasis on technique I learned to apply my abilities to many different genres - classical, jazz, gospel, rock, etc.

I am an experienced piano instructor with over 25 years of teaching. I have taught students of all ages and levels, from beginning to advanced. Most of my students are competition winners and many play in their school jazz band.

From 1991 - 2011 I was the Co-Director and owner of the Oak Brook Academy of Music and Art. This private academy taught private lessons in piano, voice, strings, drums, guitar, and also featured a large drama and film program. At it's height we had over 400 students.

Performer/Worship Leader

I have toured professionally with rock bands of varying styles - everything from Heavy Metal to Prog Rock to Christian Rock. As a soloist I have performed many recitals, classical concerts, weddings, funerals, and private events.

As a Worship Leader, I provided music and media for First Congregational UCC for 10 years, helping them transform out out of a separate form of worship (contemporary and traditional) to a more blended service that encompassed all styles of music.

My recording studio is the best of analogue and digital. I use ProTools to handle all my editing and recording needs but I rely on lots of high end analogue Preamps, Channel Strips, and Series 500 modules to deliver an incredible sound.
